I, Abe Shaw write, and therefore, I am a writer. Without any of the success, fame, or footprint in the world (yet). This blog serves as the main hub for all material I see fit to share with the world. There is no purpose to this, except for the joy of self-expression. The only thing that you need to know in visiting this blog is that you will find my material segmented into two distinct sections.
When you tell someone you write, the follow up question will be a straight forward, what do you write about? I just answer that I write about “Life” – a response that rarely installs immediate understanding of what I mean. In this world when you explore the massive life changing experiences, and treat the everyday in equal measures, you find something worth sharing. The ugliness in human existence. The loss, pain, and suffering. Then the happiness you can find in the little things. When you start fighting back against the suffocation. The human experience is so universal, but unique to oneself; you may find common ground with people by sharing, or expose them to something entirely new. Any photo uploaded on this “Life” section does not necesarily hold a connection to the written content, but rather I find happiness in sharing things I’ve seen in this world.
Along the way I managed to get a bachelor’s degree in politics and international relations under my belt. I’ve always held an interest in the endless pit of doom that is politics. There is always a lot to discuss from the basic (sometimes quite boring) functions of governance all the way to the dirty sleazy scandals. This broad subject is all consuming. I feel at times it’s bad for the soul. Despite this, I can’t take my heart out of it, and I always find myself talking about it. I just considered that as I spend so much time and energy on the subject, there may be a thing or two worth writing about. This is why I have a dedicated page to the subject.
